Podcast Progress/Changes

     Personally, I think that the progress for our podcast was slow in the beginning and we just didn't really know what to make. However, me and Narent came up with the idea of making the podcast somewhat similar to the Buzzfeed Unsolved series in YouTube. The Buzzfeed Unsolved series was a bit too serious for our liking so we decided to switch things up and make our podcast a little dramatic and humorous.

     Before we started to actually record the podcast, we had to run a survey to see what the majority of people are interested in. We made the survey in a google form and asked random people from around the school to answer our survey. After we've collected enough data, we began to spot trends and decided to make the topic for the first episode be about the infamous Red Note. 

    For my role, I worked on making the dramatic intro for the topic of the episode. I also suggested that there should people commenting in the background as I'm giving out the dramatic intro. However, I was absent most of the time as I had to attend many Basketball matches. When we finally got the chance to go record in the podcast room in school as a team, we decided to record the dramatic intro, sponsor, and our conversation. Unfortunately, we were only given a limited amount of time to complete everything so we were forced to continue our recordings through a voice call from Discord. 

    Most of our work was actually done through discord. Abizer had this image generating Discord bot that allowed us to create our team Logo. We also did the interview with the special guest which was Raphael through Discord, this process however was quite challenging as we needed to make sure that everyone could get online at the same time. I recorded about 75% of the total audio using a recording software called Nvidia ShadowPlay. However, the software is only able to record my screen so I had to ask Narent to help unlink and extract the audio only using CapCut. 

    For the second episode of our podcast called "Hoops, I did it again" we actually managed to complete all of it in the span of one day. For this episode, our topic was about the Basketball school team and our special guest was the team captain, Dyfan. 

    I mainly voiced the Intro and Outro parts of our podcast. The only thing that's left to be made is the Social Media page which we require Abizer to do since he is able to produce the Logo for the team. We need him to fill out the posts and our Social Media page is pretty much done. Finally, we just need to review everything we've done so far and make sure everything is done.
